Karl-Anthony Towns has a very controversial statement during a recent podcast appearance.
Speaking on the Pat Bev Podcast, he said that he thinks the Minnesota Timberwolves run that he and Beverley went on last season when they won the play-in but lost in six games to the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round was better than the Denver Nuggets’ title run.
“It was more special what we did in Minnesota because we had like a month and then training camp and it was like, you better figure it all out right now. We really figured it out quick,” Towns said.
