Game 1 of the 2023 NBA Finals is tonight. Draymond Green has officially made his pick for the series.
In a video for Bleacher Report, Green picked the favored Denver Nuggets to take down the Miami Heat in five games. Denver is looking for its first-ever NBA title.
“Denver has the best player in the series,” Green said. “We all can agree Nikola Jokic is on some all-time great-type stuff right now. He’s constantly getting better. He makes everybody else better.
“One key thing that Denver has done that’s made me say Denver is ready to win a championship is this: they have no f—-d around in any of their series. They’ve had opportunities to close, they’ve closed. They’ve gotten it done… They’re ready to win a championship. I got the Nuggets in 5.”
