Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama didn’t live up to the hype in his summer league debut, that’s for sure.
Wembanyama, the most polarizing NBA prospect since LeBron James, had just nine points on 2-of-13 shooting from the field.
As you’d expect, NBA fans had a ton to say about Wembanyama’s disappointing debut.
Although it’s extremely premature, some fans are already writing off the No. 1 pick.

The Thomas & Mack Center sold out all 17,500 tickets for Wembanyama’s debut. That puts into perspective just how much pressure is on the French phenom.
