ESPN is reportedly close to a major shakeup for its NBA coverage.

Per Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, ESPN is close to promoting Doris Burke to the NBA Finals, while demoting Mark Jackson. The network is also set to hire former Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doc Rivers after Jeff Van Gundy got let go.

If these deals get finalized, Burke would be the first woman TV analyst on the NBA Finals. Rivers would also join play-by-play announcer Mike Breen as a color commentator for the “A” team.

Jackson, if he decides to stay, would be on the “B” team alongside Mark Jones.

This has fans super excited since it would mean Burke is getting a promotion.

“Doris Burke is really good at this job. She deserves a chance to do it at the highest level,” one tweet read.
