Andrew Wiggins poured in 29 points, Klay Thompson went for 27 points and the Golden State Warriors overcame strong efforts from the Washington Wizards’ Kristaps Porzingis and Bradley Beal en route to a 135-126 victory on Monday in San Francisco.

Golden State’s Donte DiVincenzo bombed in five 3-pointers en route to 17 points. Thompson and JaMychal Green (14 points) had four treys apiece, and Wiggins and Jordan Poole (14 points) nailed three each, helping the Warriors outscore the Wizards 60-36 from beyond the arc while completing a two-game season-series sweep.

Porzingis was the game’s leading scorer with 34 points and Beal had 33 for the Wizards, who saw a two-game losing streak come to an end. Porzingis scorched the nets to the tune of 12-for-16, while Beal shot 13-for-23.

The 30-point games were the 11th of the season for Porzingis and seventh for Beal.

The Wizards lost despite hitting 60 percent of their field-goal attempts.

The Warriors trailed by as many as 15 points in the first half before using 42- and 35-point uprisings in the middle two quarters to go up by as many as 20 late in the third period.

In the opener of a four-day, three-game trip leading into the All-Star break, the Wizards rallied within single digits at 108-101 with 9:20 remaining on a layup by Quenton Jackson.

But the Warriors’ Kevon Looney (13 points, 13 rebounds) hit two stabilizing hoops, one that became a three-point play, and the visitors never got closer.

Wiggins shot 12-for-23 as he notched his top-scoring game since he had 36 against the Houston in December. Thompson dropped in 10 of 21, helping Golden State shoot 57.8 percent for the game.

Ty Jerome contributed nine points and a game-high seven assists as Golden State earned its first win in the three games.

Kendrick Nunn and Delon Wright had 13 and 10 points, respectively, off the Washington bench. Nunn also found time for a team-high six assists, while Daniel Gafford had a team-high eight rebounds to go with nine points and five assists.
