The Boston Celtics trailed the Miami Heat by 15 points at halftime. They entered Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals series down 2-0.
Celtics fans are fed up with their team – but, more specifically, their head coach.
Boston fans are calling for head coach Joe Mazzulla to be fired on Sunday night.
“Mazzulla is reportedly a great guy. I’d still fire him during halftime,” one fan wrote.
“Celtics sabotaging so they can fire Mazzulla and hire Nick Nurse next season,” one fan added.
“FIRE JOE MAZZULLA TRADE JAYLEN BROWN TRADE MARCUS SMART,” one fan added.
“Reactionary me: trade everyone except Tatum, fire Mazzulla, light Lucky’s trampoline on fire,” one fan added.

The Celtics were one of the best defensive teams in the league last year, but they’ve really fallen off in the playoffs.
That’s usually coaching.

Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals series is currently airing on TNT.
The winner will advance into the NBA Finals, where the Denver Nuggets will probably be waiting.
