The topic of who the greatest player in NBA history is continues to be highly debated.
It’s usually between Michael Jordan and LeBron James and it’s especially being debated now that James has scored the most amount of points in NBA history.
Allen Iverson was asked for his input by Marc Spears and provided a pretty detailed response.
“I hate it because I love both of them so much and both of them did so much for our game. LeBron, I think, to me is the best overall basketball player that we’ll ever see. If you look in the dictionary and look up basketball player, there’ll be a picture of LeBron. But for me, it’s so different because Mike was everything to me. He gave me the vision. He made me want to play basketball. He’s my everything,” Iverson said.
The NBA community liked this answer quite a lot.
“So in simpler terms, LeBron is the better basketball player, but I grew up watching Jordan and he’s my favorite player,” another tweet read.
