Charles Barkley’s latest NBA prediction has fans talking. The TNT analyst made a point to chart out success for two teams in the Western Conference during the network’s pregame show on Thursday night.

Barkley predicted that the Denver Nuggets and Sacramento Kings would each win playoff series, and he also picked the Nuggets to advance to the NBA Finals – an achievement that would be a franchise first.

The NBA world is reacting to the news, with many fans seeing Barkley’s prediction as a jinx.

“Sacramento y’all had a nice run this year, but sadly it’s over,” one fan said.

“We just got hit with the Barkley jinx,” another fan said.

Some fans agreed with Barkley, including one who picked both the Nuggets and Kings to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

“How can you say someone is gonna win a series before you see who they’re playing,” another fan asked.

Barkley’s prediction seems to be rooted in the success that the two teams have enjoyed this season. The Nuggets and Kings are No. 1 and No. 3 in the West with only a few games to go, meaning that they’ll likely have home court in at least one series.

Time will tell if Barkley’s predictions come true.
