It sounds like whoever leaked the Warriors practice video to TMZ could’ve gotten more.
According to Front Office Sports’ A.J. Perez, the Hollywood outlet reportedly paid “less than $10,000” to obtain video of the punch heard ’round the NBA world.
This got NBA Twitter talking on Saturday.
“Ha. People will be fired though,” tweeted Marcus Phelps.
“I never got why anyone thought it was a massive payday cause like…who would TMZ be competing with to drive up price?” another user asked.
“Just goes to show how poorly their video techs are getting paid.”
“Ah so someone got one months rent paid,” another commented.
“SO STUPID LMAOOOO.”
“This sounds more realistic but I woulda shopped the tape around for sure,” another fan said. “Gotta be worth more than that.”
What would you let go of the tape for?
