Things haven’t exactly been going great for Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant off the court these past few months. Some disturbing new allegations have emerged that have a lot of people talking.
Molly Hensley-Clancy of the Washington Post reported on Wednesday that Morant has been accused of two new distressing encounters. One of the encounters included him allegedly beating up a 17-year-old boy and may have even pointed a gun at him.
Morant was previously investigated for his role in an alleged confrontation that took place between his entourage and members of the Indiana Pacers. Nothing came of that incident, but it appears that more investigations could soon be coming up.
Fans are taking to Twitter in shock over the worrying behavior that they’re seeing from Morant – real or alleged. Some are fearful that he’s potentially throwing his career away:
Ja Morant is one of the best young talents in the NBA and has rapidly turned the Memphis Grizzlies into a force to be reckoned with whenever he steps onto the court.
Thus far, Morant hasn’t been charged or otherwise punished for having a role in any of the incidents. Hopefully it stays that way.
Morant has the potential to be the best player of his generation. It would be a shame if silly off the field stuff kept that from becoming a reality.
