It’s been a while since Pelicans fans received positive word regarding Zion Williamson.
Now, it’s sounding like the two-time All-Star could be back before long.
On Wednesday, the team announced a medical update for the high-flying power forward, sharing that after a re-evaluation of his hamstring strain, Zion has been cleared to return to on-court activities and will be looked at again in another two weeks.

“‘Re-evaluated in two weeks’ is a far cry from being ready to play in two weeks if all goes well,” said Mason Ginsberg. “Two of OKC, Dallas, Minnesota, Utah, LAL, and New Orleans will miss the play-in. Of those 6 teams, the Pels and Utah have MUCH tougher remaining schedules than the rest.”
