Olivia Dunne traded her typical leotard for a glamorous gown at the SI Swimsuit red carpet launch party at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City on May 18. She dazzled in a lacy black gown with spaghetti straps and a thigh-high slit.
After posing for photographers and chatting with reporters on the red carpet, Dunne headed inside for a cocktail celebration and after-party event full of food, drinks and dancing. The 20-year-old LSU gymnast also grabbed a copy of the magazine and posed for pics with her magazine spread.
Dunne worked with photographer Ben Watts in Puerto Rico earlier this year for her editorial debut with SI Swimsuit.

“I just wanna let the younger generation know, especially females, that you could have it all, you could be a great athlete, you could be a great student, you could do what you love and be a savvy businesswoman while doing it all,” Dunne exclusively tells SI Swimsuit.
The day before the red carpet event, Dunne and fellow franchise models Yumi Nu and Brooks Nader rang the New York Stock Exchange bell on Wall Street with several members of the SI Swimsuit team. Check it out here.
