Tuesday’s match will be an opportunity to salvage some pride after they lost their respective matches against India and Kuwait, who have already qualified for the semifinals and will face off for the top berth in the group later in the evening. World No. 195 Pakistan have been the bogey side of the group as they consumed eight goals in two games while scoring none.

Hello and welcome to the Live coverage of Nepal vs Pakistan match from the Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. The match is it’s opening minutes with Nepal wearing its red kit while Pakistan are in their all-white kit.
In their defense, Shahzad Anwar-coached side were the latest to arrive for the tournament, in fact just hours before the start of their first game against World No. 105 India, who reached two days before the game after winning the Intercontinental Cup against Lebanon. Pakistan were handed a 4-0 drubbing through a Sunil Chhetri hat-trick in front of a packed Bengaluru crowd.
It was followed by an equally shambolic performance against 143rd-ranked Kuwait, who scored four goals as well using their quick move on the counter and pace on the wings. Pakistan have their fair share of quality players in Otis Khan and Easah Suliman, who play professional football in England.
However, it was evident over the two matches that their squad hasn’t seen enough game time together to pose a threat. Their error-prone defence often made their job tougher by conceding early goals while midfield and forwards have struggled to connect or understand each other moves.
Nepal, on the other hand, looked a competitive side against India, who looked a better side in the first half by putting the Indian defence under pressure on the counter. The Himalayan outfit, however, has been yearning for accuracy in front of the goal and have scored just once while conceding five times in the first two games.
