New Kids On The Block is one of the most popular boy bands in music history. They first came onto the music scene in 1984 and quickly became a big hit. With songs like, ‘(You Got It) The Right Stuff,’ ‘Please Don’t Go Girl,’ ‘Hangin’ Tough,’ and ‘Step By Step,” they made young teen girls swoon with delight in all parts of the world. Mark Wahlberg, Donnie’s brother, was also part of the group in its first year and Jamie Kelly was once a part of it.
With the same outfits, dance movies, strong vocals, and good looks and charm, it didn’t take long for their music success to branch out into other opportunities like merchandise that included bed sheets, duffel bags, and more. The group ended in 1994, but that didn’t stop them from getting back together in 2008.
Since they reunited, they have been performing around the world on tours with other boy bands and have attracted sell out crowds. With new and old fans, their impact in music has proven to still be apparent with the amount of enthusiasm they still manage to bring out in every face in the crowd.
