Here are three recent songs that are worth spending some time with in November:
“Thank God,” Kane and Katelyn Brown
Country music superstar Kane Brown teams with his talented wife on this moving duet, which was released as the fourth single from his third full-length studio outing, “Different Man.” Katelyn Brown — who has a background in contemporary R&B — sounds so wonderful on this number that one has to wonder why it’s taken the two spouses this long to release a duet together.

“Barking Dog,” Dizzy
The Juno Award-winning Canadian outfit is back with another mesmerizing indie-pop offering, which finds leads vocalist Katie Munshaw softly lamenting the hard times that her dog suffered through prior to being adopted by her family. “This song is mostly about how we’re all just products of our youth; doomed in various ways none of us asked for,” Munshaw says.

“Mercy (Every Morning),” Ryan Axtell
Axtell wrote this warmly inspiring tune in the midst of moving his family from California to Texas, where he had taken on the role of worship pastor at LifePoint Church in Plano. It’s a catchy and comforting song, which blends modern country with contemporary Christian music and nicely showcases Axtell’s strong vocals.
