NFL player Jalen Ramsey lists Hidden Hills mansion for $14 million

Former L.A. Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey put his customized Hidden Hills mansion on the market for $13.995 million.

Designed in a modern farmhouse style on more than an acre in the guard-gated equestrian community, Ramsey has transformed the seven-bedroom 10,100-square-foot residence with seven bathrooms into his vision of the perfect home since taking ownership.

Records show he bought the property newly built for $9.5 million in November 2020. “America’s Got Talent” host Howie Mandel and his wife, Terry, built it but never lived there.

“I have always had a dream house in mind with a whole list of must-haves for me and my family,” explained Ramsey in a statement provided in the Compass marketing materials. “This property checked almost all of the boxes. I made a few enhancements to perfect it, and now it is tough coming to terms with selling it because I do love it. You can relax, play basketball, be healthy, workout — you can do it all here.”

The three-level house opens into a spacious foyer with access on all sides to the open floor plan. There’s a dining room, living room and great room that combines the family and casual dining area with an open kitchen.

Features of the kitchen include hidden appliances, white countertops and a large center island.

Glass walls off the great room open to a covered patio with a built-in barbecue. Beyond is the pool, spa and outdoor living room with a fireplace.

A sauna occupies the patio just outside the game room on the lower level. Other amenities include a wet bar, theater, glass-enclosed wine room and gym.

Upstairs, a  fireplace divides the primary bedroom from a sitting area. The primary suite also includes two walk-in closets, a bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower for two, a separate soaking tub and twin vanities on opposite walls, and a private balcony that overlooks the backyard.

The whole house is automated with a panelized lighting control system.

Custom additions include a one-bedroom guest house, basketball court and play structure. The terraced upslope features a built-in trampoline and hill sprint course.

Lee Mintz of Compass, who sold the property to Ramsey, has the listing.

Ramsey, 28, is a former L.A. Rams 2022 Super Bowl champion and six-time Pro Bowl cornerback. In March, the Miami Dolphins acquired him in a trade.
