The Haslam family is about to own a share of another sports team.
According to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps, Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry has reached an agreement to sell his portion of the team to Jimmy and Dee Haslam, who are the majority owners of the Cleveland Browns.
This portion of the team is worth $3.5 billion.
Bucks fans aren’t happy about this news since they don’t like how the Haslam’s have run the Browns.
“This is devastating news for Bucks fans. Browns have been a dumpster fire under his ownership,” one tweet read.
“At least the Bucks have that title with Giannis. My god I would feel disgusted if I was a Bucks fan,” another tweet read.
“The optimism in me says this will help keep them from meddling too much. The pessimism in me says this could stretch financial resources thin,” another tweet read.
It remains to be seen how much this affects the Browns.
