Nick Knowles reveals he kept his long covid ‘a secret’
DIY SOS star Nick Knowles has clapped back at trolls who claim his younger lover is using him for money, telling them firmly his girlfriend is a “businesswoman herself”.
Nick, 59, sent tongues wagging as he was pictured passionately kissing Katie Dadzie, 32, in Mayfair earlier this month, with the pair unable to keep their hands off each other.
But the DIY SOS star said he has been frustrated by comments saying his girlfriend is with him because of his estimated £7.5million fortune- saying Katie is even “wealthier than him”.

Nick told the Daily Star : “If you put yourself on TV then you know you are going to get all that stuff. It is more upsetting for the people I am with.
“Some of the nasty things that are said, and the implication that because she is younger that she is only interested in me for the money or whatever.
“She has two kids, she owns property, has three businesses on the go, is wealthier than me. It is upsetting that they talk about people I am with.”

Katie, who is almost half of Nick’s age, is a mum-of-two and owns two businesses. One of her companies is called Boa Boa, which sells lingerie and racy sex toys.
While the other is called Boobbix and sells lactation products for breastfeeding mums.
It comes after Nick aired his frustration on Twitter earlier this month after he was inundated with comments questioning Katie’s motives for being with him.
He wrote: “I’m raging. What happened to #bekind?”
Nick’s new relationship with Katie comes after his romance with 27 year old Emily Hallinan ended in 2020, which was a relationship that came after he split from his wife Jessica Rose Moor in 2016, who was 26 years younger than him.

The new love birds were first spotted together in September 2021, after meeting through the playgroup that their children went to together.
Earlier this month the couple were spotted in London’s Mayfair, as they strolled hand-in-hand while stopping for steamy snogs along the way.
Wearing an ultra-short dress and fur coat, Katie looked chic as she donned her luscious hair in curls, while Nick wore jeans with a shirt and a navy blue blazer.
At the time, one onlooker said: “Nick and his girlfriend looked pretty loved up as they wandered down the street. They were smiling and laughing as they looked at the new Bentleys through the showroom window, before hoping in a taxi together.”
