The Denver Nuggets finally did it.
The Western Conference team defeated the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals (in five games) to capture their first NBA championship in team history.
NBA Finals MVP Nikola Jokic led the way and cemented himself as the best player in the game, averaging 30.2 points, 14.0 rebounds, and 7.2 assists on 55 percent shooting from the field.
After the victory, Jokic was seen celebrating the title with his wife and daughter on the NBA social media account which was tweeted on Tuesday.

Jokic, 28, is already a two-time MVP and one the most dominant players in the league. Now he has something many NBA Hall of Famers don’t: a championship ring.
