Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic may just be hours away from winning his first NBA title and capping off one of the best postseason runs in playoff history. But he didn’t look like he was dressed for a celebration.
Video of Jokic arriving at Ball Arena in Denver for Game 5 against the Miami Heat shows him wearing all black. His shoes, pants, suit and button down shirt were all as black as you’d expect at a funeral or a wake.
NBA fans are certainly getting that exact vibe from Jokic right now. Just about everyone is saying that the series is over based on Jokic’s wardrobe alone.

“Class….not a clown! The Joker looks sharp…” one user replied to Sports Illustrated.
“Last time I saw a man dressed like this before a game, Bron broke Kareem’s record,” wrote another.
“Man said ‘welcome to your funeral’ to the whole Heat organisation,” a third wrote.
“Oh nah I take it back Joker got the funeral suit, they closing this out tonight!!” wrote a fourth.
Jokic has averaged just short of a triple-double over 19 postseason games so far. A win tonight would cement these playoffs as one of the best postseasons for any player in NBA history.
Game 5 will be at 8:30 p.m. ET and will air on ABC.
