Former England footballer Wayne Rooney’s wife, Coleen is determined to do whatever it takes to win the ongoing legal battle with Rebekah Vardy, wife of Leicester City player Jamie, despite concerns over weak evidence.
Coleen, 35, and Rebekah, 39, are involved in a court case after the former accused the latter of leaking news via social media. The court case is set to kick off next April.
According to a report in The Sun, Coleen told her pals that her evidence against Rebekah might not be enough to clinch victory.
“Coleen is worried she can’t prove that it was Rebekah herself, who leaked those stories, but it’s dragged on for so long now that there’s no way she’ll back down,” a source said.
“They both want to come out on top, which could be why Rebekah ‘s ex-husband Steve Clarke has joined Team Coleen. She is so determined to see this through that she’ll continue to spend whatever it takes to save face. This is one battle neither party is willing to lose,” added the source.
