Following an exciting end to Season 4 of Stranger Things, the season of celebrations has began for Netflix, The Duffer Brothers and the show’s cast following the revelation of the nominations for the 2022 Emmy Awards.
The latest season of the hit drama series bagged 13 nominations at the 74th edition of the prestigious TV awards ceremony, with the most important being its inclusion in the Best Drama Series category alongside Better Call Saul, Ozark, Euphoria, Squid Game, Severance, Succession, and Yellowjackets.
Other than that, the Netflix series has also received nods in categories like Stunt Performance, Sound Editing, Visual Effects, Sound Mixing, Single-Camera Picture Editing, Prosthetic Makeup, Non-Prosthetic Makeup, Period Hairstyling, Casting, and Production Design.

Even with 13 nominations for Season 4, many fans might consider the announcements to be a disappointment, as the show didn’t bag any nominations in the prestigious categories, except for the Best Drama Series nod.
None of the show’s massive cast received a single acting nod for the 74th Emmy Awards, with the most glaring being the exclusion of Millie Bobby Brown and Sadie Sink in categories like Best Lead Actress and Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, respectively.
Other than that, actors like Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Maya Hawke and Twitter sensation Joseph Quinn were snubbed as well.
