Noida School Timings Latest Update: To ensure the safety of their students during the ongoing summer season, several state governments have issued advisories and asked schools and institutions to either stay closed or change their school timings in response to forecasted heat waves across the country. Earlier today, the District Magistrate of Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Buddha Nagar changed the school timing in Noida. The schedules for both government and private schools have been altered.

As per the order, students from Class 1 to Class 8 will attend school from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. News agency ANI took to Twitter and wrote, “Uttar Pradesh | School timings for the students from class 1 to 8 in all schools will be 8 am to 1 pm, in view of heatwave conditions: District Magistrate, Gautam Budha Nagar.”

School timings have also been revised in some parts of Uttar Pradesh such as Lucknow and Prayagraj. Schools in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow will operate with revised timings. While classes from 1 to 8 will begin from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Classes 9 to 12 will commence at 7:30 AM and will continue till 1:30 PM. Heatwave conditions continued unabated as the temperature hovered in the range of 40 to 44 degrees Celsius over most parts of the country on Tuesday, with Hamirpur and Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh sizzling at 44.2 degrees Celsius, reported news agency PTI. Similarly, Summer vacations in all schools in Odisha will start on Friday, the state government announced, bringing forward the holidays in view of the scorching heat. All schools — government, private, and aided — will be closed for summer vacation from April 21, the Information and Public Relations Department said on Thursday. The date of reopening of the schools will be decided soon, it added.
