Nora Fatehi cries on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, recalls going through heartbreak while filming her song Pachtaoge

Sriti Jha danced to Nora Fatehi’s song Pachtaoge on a recent episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. The actor’s ‘emotional’ performance left Nora teary-eyed. The actor-dancer, who is one of the judges on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, recalled the time when she was shooting for the song by Arijit Singh, which was released in 2019. In a video of Sriti’s dance performance on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 and the judges’ reaction that was shared on a fan page on Instagram, Nora said that she was going through a similar personal situation in her life, and therefore she could relate to the song, and used all her emotions during the shoot. Pachtaoge is song about heartbreak and regret. Nora was seen wiping away her tears, while Sriti danced on stage.

In the clip, Nora said in Hindi, “Sriti and Vivek, the performance you gave on my song, I could relate to it. When I filmed this song, I was going through a similar emotional situation, which I was able to use in my performance. This might not be your best performance in terms of dance, but it was emotional…”

Pachtaoge, which was released in 2019, was sung by Arijit and penned by Jaani with music by B Praak. Apart from Nora, the song featured Vicky Kaushal and Prabh Uppal. The song was part of the album Jaani Ve and was a huge success upon its release.

Nora was last seen in Thank God in a cameo in the song Manike. The film starred Sidharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn. Nora’s upcoming projects include the film 100 Percent alongside John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh and Shehnaaz Gill.
