Tennis legend Novak Djokovic is a big fan of fellow countryman and NBA superstar Nikola Jokic.
Jokic is about to play in his first NBA Finals after he helped the Denver Nuggets sweep the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals. Jokic is having one heck of a season and is going to be a matchup nightmare for one of the Miami Heat or Boston Celtics.
Djokovic was asked about Jokic during a media availability after his first-round French Open victory over Aleksander Kovacevic and was glowing about him.
“He’s the pride of Serbia, we’re so proud of him. We hope he can win his first ring,” Djokovic said.

Jokic scored 23+ points in all four games against the Lakers and has scored 20+ points in every playoff game this season except one.
He’ll look to keep it going when the NBA finals start later this week.
