Oliver Proudlock’s Serge DeNimes Drops ‘Tudor Collection’ Inspired By 16th Century Jewellery

Oliver Proudlock’s Serge DeNimes Drops ‘Tudor Collection’ Inspired By 16th Century Jewellery

Serge DeNimes—the London-based jewellery imprint founded by Oliver Proudlock—has officially unveiled its Tudor Collection for Fall/Winter 2022. Inspired by the grandeur of sixteenth century jewellery, the new range brings together a rich colour palette, contrasting textures, and undoubted opulence, while looking to the period’s most infamous monarch: Henry VIII.

Building on the success of its recent Jubilee Collection, which was designed with the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in mind, the new 34-piece line-up—made from 925 sterling silver and gold-plating—features a selection of cubic zirconia stones, rare chains and pearl beads harking back to the designs and motifs that adorned the Tudor monarchs and their homes.

Boasting 15 rings, 11 necklaces, 5 bracelets and 3 earrings, key pieces from the capsule include the Silver Gem ring, complete with a rose coloured cubic zirconia and Rhodium plating, the Silver Fleur De Lis Ring, and the Silver Clover Bangle—a heavy, adjustable bracelet with iconic clover shapes cut out.

“We’ve created a collection that combines a number of pieces suitable for day-to-day wear and some that can be bought, gifted, or worn to mark a special occasion, says Serge DeNimes designer, Catherine Darcy. “However, unlike the Tudors, our new collection is much more accessible and can be styled to suit everyone.”
