On Sunday, July 16, the 39-year-old pop star held a fun-filled bash on Essex’s Osea Island which has apparently been dubbed ‘Murs fest’.
News of the nuptials emerged through pal Mark Wright’s Instagram as he posted snaps of Olly on his big day, wishing him well.
It’s hardly a surprise the loved-up couple have gone for a day that encapsulates their sense of humour as the pair had extravagant hen and stag plans.
Olly dressed up as footballer Jack Grealish for his lairy boys’ holiday, which saw him sporting a Manchester City shirt.
Equally hilarious, Amelia enjoyed Marbella with all her pals who all donned Olly Murs face masks for their party antics.
‘Celebrating this one. @ollymurs and @tankintraining wedding day. Love you both,’ the 36-year-old wrote on his story.
The TV star, who squashed rumours of a feud with The Voice judge, also posted a video of a plane trailing a banner which read: ‘Olly & Amelia Just Married.’
Amelia is a bodybuilder and fitness fanatic and the pair first met through social media back in 2019.
They went public with their romance in 2020 and Olly then proposed in December 2022 in an intimate cliff-top moment.
Now the big day is over the couple can relax and enjoy their honeymoon as Olly previously admitted that he’d become a ‘groomzilla’ ahead of their big day.
‘I’m a groomzilla. I never expected it, I thought I’d be the opposite. I’m like, “No, no, no. Get rid of that, change that, move that”, Olly told the Daily Mirror.
‘I didn’t know I cared so much about what the flowers look like but, honest to God, if I’m reincarnated, I’m coming back as a florist.’
Olly even confessed to annoying their wedding planner with his hands-on approach, telling her he didn’t want ‘ugly chairs’.
He said: ‘There’s a lady helping us plan the wedding and I said to her, “I don’t want ugly chairs, you know those horrible school chairs that are horrendous”. She said, ‘Olly, I’ve been doing this for a long time…”‘
Olly was a self-confessed ‘commitment phobe’ before he met Amelia but the Heart Skips a Beat hitmaker quickly became convinced that Amelia was the perfect girl for him.
He told The Joe Wicks Podcast: ‘I did that typical man thing and went, “I can’t commit, I’m not ready”. I called it off, and then I rekindled the relationship on tour.
‘I’m so happy I did. When you know, you know.’
