Stratus-faction can’t be guaranteed when there’s pain involved.
While WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is used to the aches and pains of bumping around in a wrestling ring, it’s the “nagging” type that’s a cause for concern.

The Toronto native had emergency surgery last week to remove her appendix after experiencing “nagging pain” in her “lower right quadrant.”
Stratus documented the experience on Instagram, where she said that after having a 10-hour travel day with her bestie — WWE legend Amy “Lita” Dumas — she was prepping for an announcement when the pain, which she thought was cramping, got too intense for her.

“I drove myself to emergency and turns out my appendix was getting ready to burst — which can be really bad if it happens and, like, cause death and stuff, so I’m really glad I went to check it out, you know to avoid the whole dying thing,” said Stratus.
Stratus said “Dr. Google” told her appendicitis caused pain in the lower right abdomen but another search result stated the pain originates across the stomach and migrates to the right side and gets worse.

“And boy did it,” said Stratus. “Turns out it’s an organ that serves no function, so good riddance, old pal.”
After having surgery, the 46-year-old bragged that she “got three new scars to add to my body badges and one less organ.”
“Recovery hasn’t been too bad so far, definitely manageable,” she said.
