A millionaire influencer has slammed a follower after they said she lives in a bubble and had nothing to be sad about.
She’s known by many as Australia’s highest-earning OnlyFans creator, but Anna Paul has opened up to her six million followers on TikTok about the struggles she is enduring in her personal life, after getting called out by a hater.
In the TikTok, Paul is replying to a hate comment saying: “What on EARTH do you have to be sad about? You literally live in a bubble. This is such a frustrating video for real.”
The video, which has accumulated more than five million views since it was posted on Thursday, shows Paul with tears streaming down her face as she describes intimate details of her life, which she says have taken a toll on her mental health.
The hate comment was a response to Paul’s latest vlog, where she is seen more melancholy than usual, going about her day: Taking her horse riding lessons, eating lunch at home with her pet bird, getting Botox with her mum, eating pizza in bed and then ending the night in tears.
Paul doesn’t usually react to hate comments on her TikTok, surprising her followers this time by providing a response to the nasty statement, which has since been deleted.
She explains in the video: “My friend died two weeks ago. She was super young, she was a close friend. She passed away.
“Someone I love is dealing with terminal cancer, and someone else I love is so incredibly suicidal, I’m scared every single day of my life.
“Yet, it was frustrating for you to watch. Why? because I’m financially stable? because I drive a nice car?”
She went on to say that she doesn’t post videos when she is sad, to avoid negatively affecting her fans.
This attitude from Paul is rare, as most of her videos on TikTok show her living a seemingly happy lifestyle with her family and partner, Glen Thompson.
The candid moment shared by the normally positive and upbeat influencer encouraged an influx of warm comments from her followers.
One user commented: “You can be sad without explanation. You’re human <3.”
Another used said: “Sometimes people can be just so cruel. I’m so sorry Anna. wrapping my arms around you from across the world.”
Being vulnerable on the internet could be hard, but it’s a refreshing perspective coming from Paul who “seems to have it all,” revealing that even the most rich and famous can have struggles in life as well.
