Orlando Pirates have received a massive offer from Italian Serie A side Sassuolo for a star defender according to reports.
Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah has impressed since joining the Buccaneers at the beginning of last season.

According to reports, Sassuolo have tabled a massive offer for the Orlando Pirates defender.

“He attracted a lot of interest in his first few games with the club and already the management knew that he was not going to last.” a Citizen report read.
“Sassuolo have offered them (Orlando Pirates) good money for his services, I don’t think any team would want to decline it.
“It is really a good offer and the club is willing to let him go, but obviously they won’t just let him go without having plans for a replacement.

“The club was struggling center-backs for a long time and after finding Ndah things became better.
“There is also Tapelo Xoki and Nkosinathi Sibisi, but what happens when something goes wrong with one of them?
“So, those are some of the things that the club is looking for. There needs to be a proper replacement, and it is going to be tough to find someone like him (Ndah).”

In other news, Jose Riveiro has welcomed Orlando Pirates 21-year-old MultiChoice Diski Challenge defender Cassius Spandiel to first team training according to reports.
The talented defender, who was part of the Shield project which saw him train with English giants Chelsea back in 2019 has been partaking in first team training in Mayfair since last month.

According to insiders at the club, Spandiel is already impressing the first team coaching staff at the Buccaneers.

“Cassius Spandiel is one of the players that have done well in the MDC team and has now been given a chance to train with the first team.” – an insider told KickOff.
“He is doing well so far, and the Orlando Pirates coach is happy with his performance at training.”
