Our 8 Favorite Photos of Alex Morgan in Playing Soccer on the Beach in St. Lucia

Alex Morgan is a standout athlete, a mom and an entrepreneur. In addition to being a two-time Olympic medalist, the San Diego Wave FC striker is cofounder of TOGETHXR and founder of the Alex Morgan Foundation. The soccer star is also a three-time SI Swimsuit model.

Morgan made her debut with the brand in 2012 when she participated in a body paint feature with photographer Kayt Jones and makeup artist Joanne Gair. She returned to the fold two years later after posing for Adam Franzino in Guana Island, British Virgin Islands.

Her most recent SI Swimsuit photo shoot took place in 2019 in St. Lucia. Morgan landed the cover of the magazine after modeling for Ben Watts in the Caribbean country. 

“I feel like this issue has just become more of like a body positivity movement and I think that that’s just women standing up for each other more than we’ve ever done before,” Morgan stated of her third feature with the brand.

That year, Morgan’s teammates Megan Rapinoe, Crystal Dunn and Abby Dahlkemper were also featured in the magazine.

“This shoot was really exciting, being able to select my teammates and then being able to select like my own swimsuits, as well,” Morgan told SI Swimsuit while on location four years ago. “Having more control makes me feel good and makes me get across exactly what I want to.”
