Seeing as Marty is under the impression Ben was cremated in his own crematorium, surely he’d know the body wasn’t Ben’s? Why would Wendy make this remark?
There are other possibilities, of course – perhaps Wendy is trying to convince herself Ben is alive as she struggles to deal with the guilt and grief for her part in the murder.
However, it’s not out of the realms of possibility that maybe Wendy knows something Marty doesn’t – after all, Marty was delivered the body heavily wrapped in plastic without Ben’s face on show.
And Wendy was the last person to see Ben alive, could she have cut a deal with Nelson behind everyone’s backs? One thing is for sure, fans will definitely have their answer when season four, part two premieres later this year.
