The Netflix series has revealed a thrilling first glimpse at the highly anticipated fourth and final season of Ozark. Wendy (played by Laura Linney) and Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) are almost certainly headed for trouble as the new footage has showcased a devastating crash to kick off the last episodes.
The critically acclaimed crime drama has returned in spectacular fashion with a brand new look at Ozark season four.
Wendy and Marty Byrde will bring their story to a close next year in a two-part series, with the first eight episodes dropping in January.
A brand new teaser trailer has revealed a destructive car crash playing out in reverse.
Amongst the wreckage, several pivotal moments from the first three seasons are accompanied by some ominous narration from Jason Bateman’s Marty.

He says: “Human beings make decisions, they commit acts, and that makes things happen.
“It creates a snowball effect. It causes other people to make decisions. The cycle continues, the snowball keeps rolling.
“No, sometimes, people make decisions and you gotta act accordingly. Or you can crawl in a hole to die.”
The trailer also came with the threatening tagline: “All decisions have consequences.”
The teaser starts with a brutal image of the Byrdes’ car lying upside down, its engine smouldering.
As the scene plays back in reverse, we see the car flip over several times, almost certainly severely injuring or potentially killing whoever’s inside.
By the end of the trailer, however, it’s still unclear what exactly caused the accident.
Marty is driving with the whole family in the vehicle, who seem to be yelling at him to slow down as he hurtles down the road.
He careens into an approaching truck and loses control of the wheel, sending the car flying.
After dragging his family into his schemes, could Marty decide to end it all with a split-second decision behind the wheel?
Alternatively, the Byrdes could be being pursued by one of their many enemies, who can take advantage of their crash to ensure they pay for their crimes with their lives.
Ozark season 4 premieres on January 21, 2022 on Netflix.
