Pakistan’s left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi reached the milestone of 100 Test wickets on Sunday in the first Test of the series against hosts Sri Lanka in Galle.
Returning from injury, Afridi struck in just his second over to dismiss Nishan Madushka after Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bat first.
Incidentally, the 23-year-old Afridi reached 99 wickets in 25 Tests at the same venue last year before a knee injury sidelined him.
