In an announcement made on Tuesday, officials confirmed that Pakistan will be returning to Sri Lanka to participate in two Test matches next month as part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC).
The Pakistan team is scheduled to arrive in Colombo on July 9, with the first Test set to take place in Galle starting from July 16.
The second Test will be held in Colombo, commencing on July 24. Sri Lanka Cricket provided a concise statement regarding the upcoming fixtures.

It is worth noting that the Test series between the two teams in July last year ended in a draw.
Sri Lanka’s most recent visit to Pakistan for two Tests took place in December 2019, resulting in one drawn match and a defeat for Sri Lanka by a margin of 263 runs.
