Palm Springs’ Splash House pool parties expand to three weekends this summer

Splish splash, more pool parties are coming this summer thanks to the expansion of Splash House.

Officials with Splash House, a summer event that’s part pool party and part electronic dance music festival in Palm Springs, announced on Feb. 3 that the two-weekend event is adding a third weekend this summer.

Splash House’s triple weekend season takes place on June 10-12, Aug. 12-14, and 19-21 with tickets and hotel packages going on sale at noon Feb. 10.

The events will take place across three venues; the Renaissance, Margaritaville, and Saguaro hotels each weekend.

General admission passes start at $159 and hotel packages, which include hotel stays and transportation between venues, start at $305. The event is for the 21 and over crowd.

The festival also includes nighttime parties at the Palm Springs Air Museum. Tickets for the After Hours event can be purchased separately, but there is also a combo ticket that includes the daytime and evening events.

Splash House was supposed to expand to three weekends back in 2020 but those plans were canceled due to the pandemic. Splash House returned with two weekends of music and pool parties in 2021.

Launched in 2013, the festival started as a single weekend event but grew to two and has drawn about 7,000 people per day for each of the three days each weekend.

The musical lineup will be announced later, organizers said.

Current COVID-19 rules for the festival require proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event or proof. The event’s website will include updated information on rules.
