Lovers may want to consider Paris’ newest oo-la-la hotel for Valentine’s Day. It promises to be something special, and it definitely has that certain “je ne sais quoi.”
Venture away from the crowds at the tourist hotspots and discover TOO Hotel, a new hotel concept for Paris with breathtaking views, located in the vibrant 13th arrondissement. The district is one of the city’s most multicultural areas, and home to the Tours Duo, one of the French capital’s most iconic new landmarks, with TOO Hotel perched at the top of the northern tower. The acclaimed Jean Nouvel skyscrapers are located between the National Library (Bibliothèque François Mitterrand) and Station F in this exciting and modern arrondissement, with newly-built, business-oriented neighborhoods complemented by a thriving riverside arts and entertainment scene. Highlights include the Josephine Baker pool – a unique, all-year-round swimming pool that floats on the Seine – and a floating 450-seat concert hall.
The area also offers a variety of delicious dining options, from a must-be-seen-at food hall by restaurant group Big Mamma, to some of the best Asian street food in the city. Meanwhile, architecture-lovers will love to stroll across the newest pedestrian bridge in Paris, with its eye-catching modernist design, connecting the neighboring 12th and 13th arrondissements. For a taste of the major sights up close, the city center is at guests’ fingertips, just a short train ride or 15-minute cycle away along the picturesque Left Bank.
Back at TOO Hotel, each of the 139 rooms and suites provide a bird’s-eye view unlike any other; Philippe Starck’s playful and unexpected interiors include beds that are intentionally angled toward the best views, enabling guests to take in the city’s most legendary sights from the moment they awake. Say “Bonjour” every morning to the Eiffel Tower! Set within a glittering gold-ceilinged glass cube above the hotel, TOO Restaurant offers mouth-watering world cuisine with a modern twist from sun-up to sunset, while the TOO TacTac Skybar – taking its place amongst the capital’s highest rooftop bars – allows guests to savor Paris in all its splendor from its panoramic terrace.
The hotel’s spa, TOO Chill, is a nature-inspired oasis, featuring treatment rooms, gym, custom-made cedarwood sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi set on the tree-lined 17th floor terrace overlooking the River Seine.
TOO Hotel’s Eiffel Tower Deluxe Junior Suite High-Floor is sunset-facing with panoramic views of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower, which greets guests every morning since the king-sized bed faces it. The suite also boasts an additional double sofa bed, remote-controlled blinds and lights, a reading corner and desk, and ensuite bath and shower room with a panoramic views. The bathroom amenities are from Esteé Lauder’s perfume brand Le Labo.
