Legendary NBA player/coach/executive Pat Riley is taking some heat on social media following Sunday’s Bradley Beal to Phoenix trade.
The Heat, coming off an NBA Finals loss, were mentioned to be in the running for Beal. However, the Suns reportedly pursued Beal more aggressively and ultimately won out.
Should Riley and the Heat have made a bigger push for Beal this offseason?
Perhaps Miami will end up with Damian Lillard, though right now, fans are frustrated.
“If Pat Riley don’t pull of this Dame Lillard acquisition then we really need to reevaluate some things,” one fan wrote.
“Pat Riley keeps offering these teams Duncan Robinson and a 2079 first round pick for these star players thinking it will get done,” one fan added.

The Heat have since been linked to Lillard, though it remains to be seen if the Blazers star actually wants out of Portland.
