It seems that Zion Williamson isn’t the only NBA player with some strange habits off the court.
Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce recently appeared on his old teammate and good friend Kevin Garnett’s show KG Certified with a special guest.
Here’s Pierce introducing Garnett to his new friend.
Garnett appears to be somewhat uncomfortable with the topic after Pierce mentions that the woman he introduced him to is his “girlfriend for the day.”
The encounter takes another strange turn when Pierce mentions that he’s aware of a website that allows people to hire partners for a day, at which point Garnett attempts to laugh through Pierce’s explanation.
The situation calls back to Pierce’s departure from ESPN. The company let the former analyst go after he streamed himself holding a house party on Instagram live with alcohol and various women.
Pierce appeared to be drinking and smoking during the stream, conduct that doesn’t exactly fit ESPN and Disney’s family friendly image. Prior to his exit from the network, Pierce was a regular on NBA Countdown, The Jump and other NBA-related programming.
Now that he no longer has to worry about the standards and practices at ESPN, it appears that Pierce is doing whatever he wants in his personal life.
