Paytm, Amul to Support Yonex-Sunrise All India Sub-Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament in UP

Digital payments major Paytm and India’s pioneer dairy brand Amul have come together as general partner and beverage partner respectively for the Yonex-Sunrise All India Sub-Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament (Boys and Girls U-15 & U-17) in a bid to encourage sports in Uttar Pradesh. Radio Mirchi is the radio partner of the tournament.

An All-India U-15 and U-17 ranking tournament is being organized in UP by the Uttar Pradesh Badminton Association for the first time. The tournament, taking place from June 20 to 27 across four venues, will see the participation of around 2000 badminton players in both categories from across the country. The state recently successfully organised the ‘Khelo India University Games 2022.’

“Uttar Pradesh is steadily becoming the sporting hub of the country and we are looking forward to hosting a marquee juniors’ tournament where junior athletes will showcase their talent thus generating massive excitement. It is heartening to see India’s leading and trusted corporates like Paytm and Amul supporting the tournament. We look forward to an impactful tournament,” Navneet Sehgal, president, UP Badminton Association, said.
