PBKS led by Shikhar Dhawan are fresh from their sixth win of the campaign, while David Warner-led DC head into the match on the back of their eighth defeat of this season. PBKS has won 6 of 11, whereas DC has won 4 in 12.
The two sides are set to meet for the second time this season and within a space of four days. In the reverse fixture on May 13, PBKS rode on Prabhsimran Singh’s maiden IPL hundred to set a challenging target of 172 before Harpreet Brar’s four-wicket haul restricted DC to 140.
The two sides will now clash in the first match of this season at the second home of PBKS – HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, which will host it’s tenth Indian Premier League match and the first since 2013 season.
