Pelicans at Rockets: Sunday’s stream, lineups, injury reports and broadcast info

0

For the 2021-22 NBA season as a whole, the Houston Rockets and New Orleans Pelicans have two of the three worst records in the Western Conference. But that’s certainly not reflective of how each team has fared over the past two weeks.

The Rockets enter Sunday’s clash at Toyota Center with the NBA’s longest active winning streak (five games), while the Pelicans have won four of their last six — including a convincing win on Friday at Dallas.

Here’s when you should tune in to see the game:

Date: Sunday, Dec. 5
Time: 6 p.m. Central
TV Channel: AT&T SportsNet Southwest, NBA League Pass
Live Stream: fuboTV (watch for free in Houston markets)

Probable starting lineups

Houston Rockets (6-16)

Guard: Eric Gordon
Guard: Armoni Brooks
Forward: Garrison Mathews
Forward: Jae’Sean Tate
Center: Christian Wood

New Orleans Pelicans (7-18)

Guard: Devonte’ Graham
Guard: Garrett Temple
Forward: Herbert Jones
Forward: Brandon Ingram
Center: Jonas Valančiūnas

Projected lineups are from each team’s official game notes.

Both teams will be without big names on Sunday night, with New Orleans missing Zion Williamson (right foot fracture) and Houston missing both members of its prized young backcourt of Jalen Green (left hamstring strain) and Kevin Porter Jr. (left thigh contusion).

The remainder of the injury/status report for New Orleans lists Daulton Hommes (right fibular stress fracture) and Didi Louzada (league suspension) as out, and Josh Hart (left knee soreness) as questionable.

Houston will also be without rookie forward Usman Garuba (right thigh contusion) and veteran guard John Wall, who has yet to play in any games this season as part of a mutual agreement over the offseason.
