And this isn’t the first time Kim has been called out for a brand name.
Kim Kardashian is about to relaunch her skincare line — but some fans are taking issue with the brand’s name.
Earlier this week, Kim announced her beauty brand, formerly known as KKW Beauty, would be rebranding under the name SKKN BY KIM.
The refillable nine-piece skincare line is set to launch June 21 and includes products like hyaluronic acid serum and vitamin C8 serum.
And while many fans were excited that Kim would be reentering the beauty space, quite a few couldn’t help but point out how similar the brand name is to Lori Harvey’s recently launched line.
Back in October, Lori unveiled SKN by LH — a five-step skincare routine including her own vitamin C serum and a peptide eye complex cream.
Fans immediately took to Twitter to voice their thoughts about Kim’s similarly named line — and a lot of them weren’t happy:
This isn’t the first time Kim has come under fire for a brand name either. Back in 2019, Kim launched Kimono, her shapewear line which would eventually be renamed Skims.
Kim faced backlash for using the name of the traditional Japanese dress for her products that had nothing to do with Japanese culture or attire.
While Kim said she had no intention to “resemble or dishonor the traditional garment,” she ultimately ended up renaming the company to Skims.
Whether Kim (or Lori) will be changing their brand name is still yet to be seen.
