They had already postponed their wedding because of COVID-19, and just three weeks before their new wedding date, it looked like Erica Wilcoxson and Jordan Bartlett were going to have to cancel again, with another lockdown announced.
Instead, it was a day full of luck for the lovebirds, with the lockdown ending, mask mandates and restrictions lifting, and family and friends allowed to travel from Queensland without needing to quarantine.
Even the weather forecast, which was working against them with a high chance of rain, didn’t dampen their day. While overcast, the rain stayed away, making for a perfect day for the bride and groom.
When and where
The couple wed in front of 45 guests at the leafy Caversham House on May 14, with stunning photographs taken within the venue’s gardens.
Dress
Erica wore a beautiful gown with delicate lace appliques by Martina Liana.
Honeymoon
The newlyweds have decided to postpone their honeymoon so they can enjoy a winter escape to New Zealand next year.
