If you were planning on getting yelled at while eating your burger at this Perth diner soon, then you may have to change your plans.

The iconic chain restaurant Karen’s Diner has interestingly shut down three of its pop-up locations on Tuesday — in Perth, Melbourne and Surfer’s Paradise.

You might know of the restaurant for its bizarre concept of an “unpleasant” dining experience where customers pay for employees to insult them.

The chain restaurants announced the sudden closures through their social media.

The post was captioned: “Unfortunately, all good things come to an end and Karen can’t stay forever!”

“Today marks the closing of some of our Australian pop-up stores.

“If your local pop-up store has closed, there will be a Karen’s Diner On Tour coming to your city this September.

“Karen can’t stay away and needs to give you a piece of her mind.”

The Facebook post has caused a bit of a stir, with one person raising concerns about their booking for the Perth venue.

“They took a deposit from my friend for her daughter’s b-day tomorrow and she’s received no notice of it being closed but Google shows permanently closed and phone number is disconnected?”

Another person wrote: “Has the Surfers Paradise Karen’s Diner shut? I was meant to be going there for dinner for my birthday.”
