Peter Andre has become the latest celebrity to publicly criticise Boris Johnson and the Conservative Party.
The singer has accused the Prime Minister’s government of “making a mockery of the British public” following the news of yet another Tory scandal.
Peter, 48, blasted those in power for “issuing Covid rules to us and then ignoring them themselves” when writing in his latest column this week.
Last week, Mr Johnson was accused of personally breaking Covid laws by hosting a Christmas quiz in No10 last year – while most of the U.K was living under strict lockdown rules and sacrificing spending time with loved ones.

Following The Mirror breaking the original story, former press secretary Allegra Stratton quit her government role after being filmed laughing about the Downing Street party breech.
Despite many calling for his resignation, Mr Johnson is yet to even properly apologise for the rule-break from last December – a time when many spent the Christmas period isolated and alone.
Writing in his new! column this week, Mysterious Girl singer Peter called out those involved in yet-another Tory party scandal and urged readers to still follow Covid restrictions – despite the bad example being set by politicians.

“It feels like they’re making a mockery of the British public by issuing Covid rules to us and then ignoring them themselves,” he writes regarding the government’s Christmas party.
“And the fact that it supposedly happened during a time when so many people were struggling and losing family members is awful.”
The dad-of-four then went on to express his concern that people will no longer follow restrictions, worrying that people will now think: “If they’re not following them, why should i?”
“But we can’t ignore the fact that we do need to protect the vulnerable and the NHS needs our support, regardless of what example is being set,” Peter pleads with his readers.
Peter isn’t the only celebrity in recent weeks to call out the government.
While hosting I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! this month, Geordie duo Ant and Dec made a number of jokes at the expense of Mr Johnson and his peers.
Speaking about a change of leadership in the celebrity camp, Ant started the dig at the Prime Minister.

“But, they weren’t celebrating. They didn’t have a party. They categorically deny any suggestions that they had a party,” he said live on-air last week – alluding the the Downing Street Christmas party scandal.
He continued: “And this fictional party definitely didn’t involve cheese and wine, or a secret Santa.”
“Evening Prime Minister… for now,” Dec added, in what would become his catchphrase on the ITV reality TV show.
The duo’s commentary on the ongoing scandal ended up being mentioned by Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer in the House of Commons on Wednesday afternoon for Prime Minister’s Questions.
