Phillip Schofield has been seen for the first time in weeks.
He was last seen on TV screens during his bombshell interview with the BBC in early June during which the 62-year-old admitted lying to ITV, his colleagues and fans over his relationship with a runner from This Morning.
This week, Phillip was seen out and about in Cornwall wearing a blue t-shirt and white shorts.
In photos obtained by MailOnline, Phillip could be seen unloading a car while clutching his phone.
The outlet reports that the TV star was visiting his mum Pat for her 87th birthday.
Last month, the former Dancing On Ice presenter announced he would be leaving ITV ‘with immediate effect’ after admitting to an affair with a runner.
After confessing to the ‘unwise but not illegal’ relationship, Phillip gave a series of emotional interviews in which he said he ‘wouldn’t still be here’ without his daughters, Molly and Ruby, and stated he didn’t believe he would work in TV again.
‘I’ve lost everything. It’s all gone,’ he also told The Sun frankly.
‘Telly was my safe space, the one thing I loved. Now I don’t know if I will ever work on telly again.’
He went on to say that he doesn’t know what his ‘identity’ is anymore.
‘I don’t know who I am now. What happens in six months time? What am I going to do?
‘I have the rest of my life now to try and plan for Steph and the girls, and hope that I can look after them.’
Phillip’s This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby also released a statement, asking if viewers at home were doing OK before acknowledging that Phillip acted in a way that he felt meant he ‘had to resign from ITV and step down from a career that he loved’.
