Phillips keen to stay at Man City despite Bayern Munich interest while Kovacic COMPLETES medical

Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips remains determined to stay despite Bayern Munich showing interest.

The 27-year-old emerged as a shock target for Bayern Munich according to reports in Germany, with the club ‘sharing a strong relationship with his agent’.

However, he is keen to remain in Manchester and fight for his place in Pep Guardiola’s side next season despite a tough debut campaign personally. 

Meanwhile, Mateo Kovacic underwent a medical at City on Friday ahead of joining from Chelsea for £25million.

Despite City’s interest in Declan Rice, Phillips is determined to stay and fight for his place next season.
