Photo exhibition ‘Holy Tibet’ brings Tibetan scenery to Dubai

 

DUBAI, 21st November 2022 (WAM) — A photo exhibition titled ‘Holy Tibet’ at Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai attracted many visitors as it unveiled the beautiful scenery of Tibet, an autonomous region of China.

The four-day event displayed the picturesque scenery through 80 photographs taken by Deng Yili during his travels along National Highway 318. The exhibition ending on Monday is being organised by Hong Kong Hantec Group, with the UAE Cultural and Educational Association, UAE-Chinese Photographers Association, and UAE Multimedia as co-organisers. Deng’s pictures offered Dubai viewers some beautiful, astonishing, and touching moments, as well as the magnificent scenery of Tibet.

The opening ceremony of the event was attended by more than 100 guests, with the support of the UAE’s Chinese Embassy, Chinese Consulate General in Dubai, as well as local Chinese community. At the inaugural ceremony, Guo Xin, Counsellor from the Chinese Embassy in Abu Dhabi, expressed his gratitude to Deng for bringing Tibet’s beautiful scenery to Dubai, which is a great opportunity for the overseas Chinese to enjoy the beauty of their motherland. The Chinese Consulate General in Dubai sent a congratulatory letter to congratulate the photographer.

Deng is also a businessman, investor, collector, and travel writer. He has been to approximately 150 countries, has published 15 blogs and 2 photo books. Deng and has put together more than 30 traveling photography exhibitions across 5 continents.
