A woman who claims to have worked at Home Depot caught Shaquille O’Neal’s eye on social media this week.
The young woman, Ariana Josephine, a.k.a. “Home Depot Girl,” went viral with a bathroom selfie that had more than 30 million views.
O’Neal reached out to her on social media.
“Don’t let them peopl [sic] bother u,” O’Neal wrote to Ariana, according to screenshots from Legion Hoops.
“Don’t read the comments stuff like that will drive you crazy.”

Ariana is a creator with more than 125,000 followers on social media.
She’s posted a lot to Instagram.
“Last post about Home Depot since the world is illegally doxxing my location and job. Y’all turned something innocent into something crazy, and ruined my way of making money by seriously taking the internet TOO far. Thanks for all the nice people I’ve spoken too and inspired and thanks to the hate because it’s helped me grow closer to God and be more tough skinned,” she wrote.
O’Neal had a funny message to finish off their conversation, too.
“Have a great day tell all your boyfriends I said hello lol,” he wrote.
